King reviews national issues with Premier, Crown Prince

Manama, Aug. 21 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, at Al-Sakhir Palace today. HM the King reviewed domestic issues, including ways to boost the national economy and achieve the goals of comprehensive development and to bring about more achievements and gains for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. HM King Hamad affirmed that the national work and development programmes that serve the nation and the citizens will continue in all sectors, stressing that the next phase requires concerted efforts to maintain landmark national achievements and gains. HM the King lauded Bahrainis’ giving and dedication at all work and production sites, and their tireless efforts to enhance the kingdom’s progress in various fields for the best interests of Bahrain now and in the future, voicing pride in the continuous milestone sports achievements attained by Bahrainis at regional and international gatherings, which, he said, confirms Bahraini youth’s distinction. HM King Hamad expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince for their constant keenness to follow up and develop the government’s work in order to implement the programmes featuring in its action plan and improve the quality of services delivered by various state departments. HM the King also paid tribute to the members of the government for their good efforts to serve Bahrain and its people.
