Crown Prince meets new National Security Agency Head

Manama, Aug. 22 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Shaikh Talal bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, the newly appointed Head of the National Security Agency, at Gudaiybia Palace.
His Royal Highness underscored the pivotal role the Kingdom’s security services play in maintaining stability and security, and commended their relentless efforts to safeguard the Kingdom’s development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
In this regard, His Royal Highness paid particular tribute to the personnel of the National Security Agency, who work tirelessly to protect the safety of the Kingdom's citizens.
His Royal Highness extended his best wishes to the new Head of the National Security Agency and wished him every success in his new role. The Crown Prince also noted that the Kingdom’s continuing development is underpinned by security and stability, which is protected by the Kingdom’s vigilant national security services.
Shaikh Talal expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness for his wishes and pledged his commitment to carry out his national duties to the best of his ability.
