Bahrain University, General Electric cooperation reviewed

Manama, Aug. 22(BNA): University of Bahrain (UoB) President Dr. Riadh Youssef Hamza received a delegation representing General Electric and discussed ways of strengthening and diversifying cooperation for the sake of students. He hailed the strong and constructive cooperation linking the university and the company, lauding the crucial role of the firm in spearheading technological progress over more than a century. . "The university is open on all companies and institutions in all fields and welcomes cooperation to promote scientific research", he said, stressing the pivotal UoB-led role in supplying Bahrain’s labour market with qualified graduates. General Electric President and Chief Executive Officer CEO Gulf Adel Masaad stressed his company’s keen interest in boosting cooperation with the University of Bahrain.
