Premier stresses need for special cooperation to deter challenges

Manama, Aug. 23 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed the need for special cooperation at the bilateral, regional and international level to deal with regional developments, pointing out the importance of meetings in this crucial phase to come up with visions to handle the grave regional security and economic challenges as well as deter ambient threats to the Arab nation. HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today members of the royal family, senior officials and businessmen. He affirmed during the meeting which was also attended by Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al Sabah strong ties binding Bahrain and Kuwait and growing cooperation between both countries in all fields. HRH the Prime Minister stressed keenness to further bolster bilateral cooperation, lauding Kuwait’s support to Bahrain at all levels. He discussed with the audience local issues, paying tribute to the Bahraini people who contributed remarkably to national work. He praised Bahrain’s bright national history, affirming that the future generations will always cherish the sacrifice and honourable stances of the present generation in defending the nation and maintaining its unity and cohesion.
