Speaker hails King's visit to Turkey

Manama, Aug. 28 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mullah hailed the historic visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to Turkey. The landmark visit, he said, symbolizes solid relations binding the two countries, stressing mutual keenness on bolstering security, stability and the rule of the law, and support democracy and legitimate rule. In a statement today, the speaker said that the legislative branch supports all agreements and memoranda of understanding which were signed during HM the King's visit to Turkey. "The windfall resulting from the agreements and memoranda of understanding will benefit the two friendly countries and peoples", Al-Mullah said, commending the Turkish expatriate community for their role in Bahrain's development and progress.
