HM the King returns to Bahrain

Manama, Aug 28 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today returned to Bahrain concluding an official visit to the Republic of Turkey at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. HM the King and Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim held talks on boosting the historical bilateral relations in various areas, as well as the latest regional and international developments. A number of agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed to enhance cooperation between the two countries. HM the King and the Turkish President took part in the official opening of the Sultan Selim Bridge in Istanbul. HM the King was received upon arrival by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. HM the King was bid farewell at Ataturk International Airport by senior Turkish civilian and military officials, Bahrain's Ambassador to Turkey, Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain and members of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the brotherly Turkish Republic.
