Bahrain condemns Aden terror bombing

Manama, Aug. 29(BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted a recruitment center in the city of Aden, Yemen, killing and wounding scores of innocent people. It expressed its sincere condolences and sympathies to the relatives and families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured as a result of this terrorist act, which is contrary to all values, ethics and humanitarian principles and laws. The ministry expressed support and solidarity with the Republic of Yemen and its legitimate government under the leadership of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi in its efforts to maintain security as well as its commitment to the Arab alliance in defence of legitimacy in Yemen to achieve the aspirations of the Yemini people for peace, development and progress. In a statement tonight, the ministry renewed Bahrain’s stance, rejecting terrorism in all its forms, and called for the need for concerted international efforts to eradicate this dangerous scourge that threatens the world and eliminate all its causes and dry up the sources of funding.
