"Prince Khalifa lives for his country, practices humanity"

New Delhi, Aug. 30 (BNA): An Indian website has heaped praise on His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, stressing that he "is hitting headlines all over the place for an extremely heartwarming reason."
In a "What You Need To Know About Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, The Famous PM Of Bahrain," for the MensXP site, Harshleen Anand highlighted how HRH Prince Khalifa offered to help a poor man as he desperately needed assistance in India.
"Dana Manjhi, a man from Odisha who walked a distance of 12 km with his young daughter and his wife’s dead body on his shoulders, was in the news recently when he was offered zero help and was helpless," Harshleen Anand wrote. "The hospital where his wife had succumbed to tuberculosis refused an ambulance to carry her dead body earned the Odisha government a lot of flak. The Bahrain PM has offered to extend financial support to ease out his worries, but that is all that the world knows."
Anad used the feature to highlight more humanitarian features of HRH Prince Khalifa, explaining how when he was inducted into the education council in 1956, he led the much required modernization of the education system of the country.
"In a world where most dignitaries and leaders lay emphasis on building foundation stones and international relations to boost economy, Prince Khalifa was focusing on the in-house issues. Bahrain has been able to obtain a literacy rate of over 90% due to his undying hard efforts. He continues heading various committees for both economic and financial growth and gave the country a new shape."
The feature said that he received the UN Special Citation of the Habitat Scroll of Honour in Geneva in 2007 for his immense participation in the upliftment of his country.
"He triggered the economic wellbeing and provided immense social support, ensuring education became vital and jobs were available for the residents of his country."
Anad said that Bahrain holds a strong position in the Arab world when it comes to modernization and standard of living for its resident.
"Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa is largely responsible for this positive change. It comes as no surprise that a dignitary of his caliber wants to extend support to a man back in India. Perhaps our own leaders can learn something from him. He lives for his country and practices humanity in this world."
