Russian pilgrims head to Saudi via King Fahad Causeway

Manama, Aug. 30 (BNA): The Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has started providing all types of facilities to pilgrims at all ports, in line with the directives of Interior Ministry Undersecretary of Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs. Assistant Undersecretary of Ports, Search and Follow Up said that processing the paperwork of pilgrims through the King Fahad Causeway and Bahrain International Airport is being eased while taking into consideration the security regulations. He said that travel procedures are facilitated for all pilgrims, including non-Bahrainis. This year witnessed for the first time a hajj caravan with 49 Russian pilgrims who entered Bahrain through the airport and departed to Saudi Arabia through the causeway. He added that the NPRA is dedicated to provide the best services for pilgrims in cooperation with the concerned authorities.
