Industry ministry meets French delegation

Manama, Aug. 30 (BNA): The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid . Alzayani today received a delegation of French investors. The meeting was also attended by the Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board, Khalid Al Rumaihi and the French National Assembly member and General Secretary of France-Bahrain Friendship Society Jean-Luc Reitzer, who is currently on visit in Bahrain. The delegation includes the Assistance General Manager of G A Smart Building Francois Mink. The minister outlined the investment environment of Bahrain and its business-friendly infrastructure that is backed by the wise government, in addition to the services and facilities that are promoted by specialised legislations and laws. He also briefed the attendees of the Bahrain Economic Vision of 2030 that considers economic and human development as top priority. "The Kingdom of Bahrain is considered as the gateway for international investments and it is capable of welcoming the largest international business projects. We provide worldwide investors the possibilities to reach regional and international markets, because of our strategic location and advanced transportation network," he said. Reitzer expressed appreciation of the high level services and projects in Bahrain and the government’s ambitious policies towards world cooperation and openness.
