PPP developmental role underscored

Manama, Aug. 31 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) board member Othman Mohammed Sharif Al Rayes member of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and member of the Arab Labour Organisation (ALO). His Highness praised the BCCI's role as the main representative of the private sector whose role is boosting the private sector's role in socio-economic development in the Kingdom of Bahrain. HH Shaikh Mohammed affirmed the importance of the private and the public sectors partnership (PPP) in revitalisation of the national economy. He praised the ALO's role and concerted efforts for the welfare of workers and employers in the Arab world and internationally. He also praised the ALO's technical assistance to the three parties of production in Arab countries. Al Rayes expressed his gratitude to His Highness the deputy premier for his welcoming reception and the government's care to the mercantile and industrial sector that boosts its role in positive contribution to the comprehensive national economic development.
