      EU COMMISSIONER STARTS SOUTH CAUCASUS TRIP
Baku, January 19 (AzerTAc). European Union Commissioner responsible for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner started today her trip to South Caucasus countries.
After visiting Armenia and Georgia, she will arrive in Baku on January 21, to
discuss issues on EU-Azerbaijan cooperation, democracy and regional security.
“South Caucasus countries are very important for the European Union” said Benita
Ferrero-Waldner in an interview to journalists. She added “that is why we want to
assist to realization of reforms in those countries.”
