Bahrain's development, achievements highlighted

Moscow, Sep. 5 (BNA): Russia’s most popular newspaper Kommersant today highlighted the important visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Russian Federation and stressed the significance of the talks he will hold with President Vladimir Putin. The daily said that HM King Hamad’s visit reflects the growing friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation and the keenness of the leaders to develop them in various fields in the interests of both countries. The article noted the outstanding achievements and the advanced development and prosperity in Bahrain since the accession of His Majesty the King to the throne. It commended the National Action Charter and the royal reforms. Bahrain has made quantum leaps in the areas of development and political modernization, as well as in the establishment of the constitutional institutions that have accentuated its regional and international standing, the newspaper said. It added that Bahrain is steadily moving forward led by HM the King and to accomplish further progress and development, building on the achievements made at the development, economic and cultural levels and which turned the kingdom into a model to be emulated in the region and in the Arab world.
