Illegal rally suspects questioned, charged

Manama, Sept. 6 (BNA): Chief Prosecutor in the Northern Governorate, Mohammed Al Mussallam, said the Public Prosecution was notified by Budaiya Police Station that a number of people were rallying in Deraz area and that some of them were identified. The Prosecution immediately began its investigations after being notified by the police. Today, some of the rally suspects were questioned by the Prosecution which ordered them remanded pending further investigations after charging them with illegal rallying in breach of the provisions of the law. Investigations are still continuing.
