Speaker congratulates leadership on handball team's achievement

Manama, Sep. 6 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla extended heartfelt congratulations to the leadership on the Asian and international achievement of Bahrain youth handball team who clinched the Asian Cup and qualified for the World Cup finals. He lauded the distinguished level of the Bahraini players as well as the efforts of the technical and administrative staff and Bahrain Handball Association. The Speaker sent the congratulatory cables to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He also congratulated Personal Representative of HM the King for Charity Work, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and SCYS First Deputy Chairman and President of Bahrain Athletics Association Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
