Arab honour for RCO secretary-general

Manama, Sept. 6 (BNA): Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Secretary-General Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyed has been awarded the Arab Creative Shield for 2016. Egypt-based Arab Achievers conferred the award on Dr. Al-Sayyed in recognition of his efforts to promote charity work in Bahrain and the Arab World and cultivating lofty values among young Arab generations. His Majesty’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, RCO Board of Trustees’ Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa hailed the dedicated efforts of Dr. Al-Sayyed in carrying out the royal directives to promote humanitarian work in Bahrain and support friendly peoples all over the world. He paid tribute to Bahraini competences for their dedicated contributions in all field and keenness on representing their country honourably at regional and international arenas Dr. Al-Sayyed was presented with the award during a special ceremony held in Cairo, in the presence of Assistant Arab League Secretary-General for National Security Khalil Ibrahim Al-Thawadi, Bahrain Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa and other senior officials. Dr. A-Sayyed extended thanks to HH His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, taking pride at the Arab honour which, he said, comes from a well-established institution that acknowledges Arab creative achievements.
