King’s efforts to upgrade BDF capabilities hailed

10 : 20 PM - 06/09/2016 Moscow, Sep. 6 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, visited this afternoon the International military and technical forum “Army 2016”. Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma accompanied HM the King as he toured different pavilions, hailing his keen interest in cutting edge military systems being showcased at the forum. He paid tribute to HM the King, lauding dedicated royal efforts to upgrade the defence and combat capabilities of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and supply it with latest defence systems and weaponry. Lt. Gen. Al-Jalahma toured Army 2016 pavilions which showcased latest military systems and weaponry. He will co-sign with his Russian counterpart a military cooperation agreement.
