Premier chairs work meeting

Manama, Sep. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa chaired today a work meeting to follow up on the implementation stages of "Sa'ada" (Happiness) project in Muharraq. After reviewing the technical and architectural designs, he directed to tender the first phase of the project by end of the first quarter of 2017 at the latest while implementation should not exceed 18 months. He also directed to put out the second and last phase of the project to tender by end of the second quarter of 2017 while implementation of this phase should not last more than 18 months. HRH the Premier directed the Ministerial Committee for Construction and Infrastructure to immediately embark on putting a schedule for completion of the architectural designs of the project and take the necessary measures for land acquisition before March 2017. He also directed the same committee to cooperate with the competent parties to provide cash liquidity to ensure completion of each phase as planned. HRH the Prime Minister underlined the government's keenness to carry out the services and development projects as scheduled in order to achieve set up goals. He also underscored the government's keenness on providing citizens with all needed services and boosting their welfare, pointing out the government's ambition to achieve citizens' aspirations despite all challenges.
