Successful royal visit to Russia roadmap for future

Manama, Sep. 7 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla stressed success of the strategic and political vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in bolstering cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries. He pointed out that the approach adopted by Bahrain's leadership and government is a roadmap for the future to further cement relations with other countries and provide support in facing the exceptional challenges undergone by the region. The Representatives Council Speaker was speaking in a statement on the occasion of HM the King's visit to Russia. He pointed out the Representatives Council's keenness to promote parliamentary cooperation with the Russian legislative council. He also stressed that such meetings and visits contribute to solidifying relations between both countries, pointing out Bahrain's policy of encouraging openness on all countries on the basis of respect and no interference in countries' internal affairs. He also underscored the importance of the royal visit at this crucial time in tackling many issues given the ongoing regional developments mainly in the Middle East and the Gulf. He lauded the pioneering Russian role in boosting regional security and stability, stressing strong ties binding the two friendly countries.
