Iranian interference in Bahrain's internal affairs condemned

Cairo, Sep. 8 (BNA): The Arab Foreign Ministers Council has condemned the continuing Iranian interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain through supporting terrorism, training terrorists, smuggling weapons and explosives and inciting sectarianism. The council, in a statement issued at the conclusion of the 146th session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level held under the chairmanship of Tunisia, denounced the continuation of the Iranian statements at various levels aimed at destabilizing Bahrain's security and stability. It also condemned the formation of terrorist groups in Bahrain funded and trained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and terrorist Hezbollah militias. The statement stressed the Iranian practices are in violation of the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in internal affairs and UN Charter and international law. It demanded Iran to halt the hostile statements, provocative actions and media campaigns against Arab countries, as they are a blatant interference in the internal affairs of the same countries
