HRH Premier congratulates BBA president

Manama, Sep. 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has sent a cable of congratulations to Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa on being elected uncontested as President of the Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA). HRH Premier said that Shaikh Isa’s election as BBA President reflects the distinguished position he enjoys among the sport community, and the confidence in his ability to develop the game in Bahrain and achieve local and regional successes. The Prime Minister voiced pride in Shaikh Isa’s winning of BBA Presidency, noting that his election proves the confidence in Bahraini youth competencies in achieving success stories in basketball and enhancing its ability to reach top positions at the GCC and Arab levels. HRH the Prime Minister affirmed the government’s support to all efforts aimed at boosting the youth and sport sector, and to all sport associations in Bahrain, including BBA. He wished Shaikh Isa every success in leading Bahrain’s basketball to more landmark achievements.
