BIBF allocates two scholarship grant seats

Manama, Sep. 15 (BNA): Bahrain Institute of Banking and Financial Studies (BIBF) and the Isa Bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) whereby the institute grants two scholarship grant seats for an undergraduate course of study in the UK-based Bangor University in compliance with the university's rules for student admission. Founded in 1884, Bangor University has a long tradition of excellence and exceeds expectations, both for academic standards and student experience. BIBF Acting Director General Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Ghani Al Shaikh expressed pride in such cooperation that promotes the partnership and the spirit of solidarity and assistance to achieve the aspirations of Bahraini youth to pursue their further study in the top international university. This will also help in producing alumni who are capable of participating in the Kingdom's growth and prosperity, according to Dr. Al Shaikh. The institute attaches great importance to human resources development, training and qualification of citizens. It is worth mentioning that the Isa Bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment supports undergraduate and postgraduate students who cannot afford to pursue higher studies.
