HRH Premier thanked by BBA president

Manama, Sep. 16 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks from Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa in reply to his congratulations on his being elected uncontested as President of the Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA). Shaikh Isa expressed deep pride in being congratulated by HRH Premier, noting that the Prime Minister’s kind gesture will motivate him to develop basketball in the kingdom and lead it to regional and Arab podiums. He asserted that the advanced strides made by the Bahrain sport movement are the fruitful result of the suitable environment that stimulates creativity and excellence created by HRH Premier, the first supporter of sport and athletes in the kingdom. BBA president said that the Prime Minister’s directives will be a road map for developing basketball in the kingdom, vowing that BBA will focus its goals and programmes on bringing about landmark achievements that meet the aspirations of the sport community in Bahrain, especially basketball fans. He asserted that the Premier’s constant support to the sport sectors and athletes in the kingdom will motivate everyone to be more dedicated in consolidating Bahrain’s regional and international status in the sport field.
