Foreign Minister attends GCC meeting

New York, Sep. 18 (BNA): Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa attended the complementary GCC meeting in New York. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Saudi permanent delegation to the United Nations in New York, in the presence of the GCC foreign ministers. The ministers exchanged viewpoints regarding joint GCC action, in addition to regional and international political developments and issues. They stressed the importance of coordination and consultation regarding regional issues which will be on the agenda of the 71st UN General Assembly (UNGA) session. The ministers issued a press statement hailing results of the 16th GCC consultative summit which was held on May 31st.
