Bahrain-UK military cooperation praised

Manama, Oct. 4 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received here today, in the presence of Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, Commander of the UK's Joint Forces Command, General Sir Chris Deverell, and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom. The commander-in-chief praised the outstanding long-standing Bahrain-UK relations of friendship and cooperation. He also highlighted the steady progress of bilateral relations in various fields, including the military one, affirming the kingdom's constant keenness on enhancing military cooperation and coordination with the UK. Acting Director of the BDF General Command, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Sa'ad, Inspector-General, Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah, and a number of senior BDF officers attended.
