Saudi practitioners and their role in development of Health

Damam, January 18, SPA -- The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Manea,
inaugurated here today the third symposium entitled "Saudi
Practitioners and Their Role in the Development of Health System"
organized by the Health Services Council in cooperation with the GCC
Executive Bureau of the Council of Ministers of Health; the Saudi
Society of Family and Community Medicine and the General Directorate
of Health Affairs in the Western Province.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Manea stressed that the role of the Saudi
practitioners is pioneering in the service of the society and has
become the focus of attention of the world, indicating that the Saudi
practitioners’ medical errors are not a phenomenon, adding that they
are considered a few compared to other practitioners' in other
countries.

The health minister added that the symposium will bring about the
desired goals and that the Ministry of Health will work to implement
the recommendations of the symposium in accordance with its strategy.
