N. Korean media 'quickly' reports Barack Obama's inauguration

SEOUL, Jan. 21 (Yonhap) -- North Korea's state-run news agency on Wednesday "quickly" reported U.S. President Barack Obama's inauguration.

Experts in Seoul said that the North's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA)
made the announcement less than a day after the event, which is relatively fast
when compared to past reports on U.S. presidential inaugurations.
The brief report said Obama's inauguration ceremony was held at the U.S. Capitol
Building and that he made an inaugural address, without going into further
details.
When George W. Bush was sworn into office in 2001, the communist country reported
the event three days later. It did not report his reelection.
It also did not separately report Bill Clinton's inauguration in 1993, only
mentioning the need for change in U.S. policy toward North Korea the day after he
became president.
