Transport Company prepares for influx of travellers to mourn for late King

BANGKOK, Oct 14 (TNA) -- The Transport Co, Ltd is increasing the number of buses to cater to the influx of travellers planning to travel into the capital, Bangkok, to pay their last tribute to HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Board member and Acting Managing Director of Transport Co, Maj Gen Amnart Anart-ngam said the company has added 25 per cent more buses for all routes to cater to the higher volume of travellers who had planned to journey to Bangkok to pay their last respect to the recently passed HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Furthermore, the company has also asked all station managers to coordinate with the provincial office in each area of responsibility to inspect the needs of the public and to better provide conveniences to the people, as well as ensure that there are enough buses to meet demands starting from today, October 14, onward.
