BANGKOK, Oct 16 (TNA) – Public members will be allowed to pay their respects to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej in front of the royal urn, starting from Oct 28, the Royal Household Bureau announced.
The announcement said the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall will be opened for public from 9 am to 4 pm but on the first day on October 28, the opening starts at 1 pm.
Mourners from across the country and afar continue to flock to the Grand Palace to sign their condolences and pay their final respect before the portrait of the late King at the Sahathai Samakhom Hall in the compound of the Grand Palace.
People were seen cramping the entrance doors of the palace since this morning, some also carrying a wreath with them. People were told to make four deep lines before entering the hall in an orderly manner. Women with no-sleeve shirts or short-skirts are not allowed to enter.
