Leadership congratulated on global marathon title

Manama, Oct. 16 (BNA): HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, President of West Asian Athletics Federation and President of Bahrain Athletic Association, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on the occasion of Lishan Dula the Bahraini marathoner's winning the top global title in Buenos Aires International Marathon in Argentina by overtaking world-class contenders in 2.39.14 hours. HH Shaikh Khalid hailed HM the King and the government for their support to youths and sportspeople that culminated in upgrading the sports activities in the in the Kingdom of Bahrain, citing the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports in supporting all national teams to honour the Kingdom of Bahrain in numerous external participations. HH Shaikh Khalid praised the advanced level of performance by the top winning Bahraini athlete Lishan Dula alongside with her colleagues who have faithfully done their best to hoist the national flag at the coronation platforms in many international events, wishing her and the rest more success in upcoming championships.
