Tamkeen supports business quiz show

Manama, Oct. 16 (BNA): Tamkeen has announced as the Strategic Partner for the fifth Annual Bahrain Business Quiz Show, which will be held again this year alongside Bahrain’s National Day celebrations kicking off on November 27 in front of a live audience and televised on BTV. Tamkeen is supporting this annual event for the Fifth year, organized to showcase the talent and skills of the local business community across key economic sectors and to create a platform for the business community to connect with peers and the general public. Tamkeen’s partnership of the event is in line with its broader efforts to foster and promote human capital in the Kingdom and support the private sector including leading business organizations, SMEs and entrepreneurs. Zahraa Taher, Managing Director at FinMark Communications, the organiser of the Quiz Show, said: "Tamkeen’s support once again this year underscores the importance of the Quiz Show in showcasing the depth of talent, knowledge and diversity within Bahrain’s business community. The Business Quiz series will consist of four nights where four teams from the same industry will compete against one another to test the knowledge of participants about their industry and Bahrain’s economic activities in an enjoyable and competitive atmosphere. Industry nights will include Banking & Finance, Insurance, Industrial and General Business and will take place on November 27-29 and on December 4-6. Winners of each industry night will move ahead to the Show’s Grand Finale taking place on the 8th of December. Winners of pervious shows have included: Thomson Reuters, BBK, Benefit and Al Salam Bank. Each evening will also feature live entrainment and performances by local artists and success stories from the business community and the Show’s sponsors and organizer will soon be evaluating local talent to take part in live performances that will be featured as part of the show series and events for the business community and general public. Alongside Tamkeen, the Show’s sponsors currently include Midal Cables as Bronze Sponsors and Manama Printing, the Bahrain SME Society and the Bahrain Insurance Association as other supporters.
