Electricity minister receives Indian ambassador

Manama, Oct. 16 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister, Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received here today the Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, Alok Kumar Sinha. The minister lauded the outstanding solid Bahraini-Indian relations, and praised bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially electricity, water and renewable energy. The minister reviewed with the ambassador the main projects currently implemented by the Electricity and Water Authority. The meeting also highlighted the joint achievements since His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's visit to India, where he directed to enhance cooperation and commercial and economic complementarity between the two countries. The envoy expressed thanks and appreciation to the minister for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him, affirming his country's constant readiness to bolster its cooperation with Bahrain in the electricity and water affairs for the best interests of the two countries.
