RI, S KOREA FOREIGN MINISTERS DISCUSS ENHANCED RELATIONS
Jakarta, Jan 21 (ANTARA) - Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajuda and his South Korean counterpart, Yu Myung-hwan, had a meeting here on Wednesday to strengthen and expand their bilateral relations.
"South Korea is a very important partner of Indonesia. In 2005, Indonesia and Korea established a strategic partnership, an agreement of the highest level to increase and expand the bilateral relations between the two countries and their peoples," Wirajuda said.
Following the agreement on strategic partnership, both countries established an eminent persons group, comprising eminent persons from Indonesia and Korea to conduct a study to give advice and recommendations on how to strengthen and develop the bilateral relations further, he added.
