HM the King offers condolences to Qatar's Emir

Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today at Al-Wajba Palace offered sincere condolences to HH Sheikh Tammim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of Qatar, and his father HH Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani on the passing of HH Emir Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani. HM the King also expressed sympathies to Their Excellencies the sons of the deceased and the honourable family of Al-Thani. HM the King prayed to Almighty God to rest the soul of the deceased in peace and inspire his bereaved family patience and solace, praising the noble deeds of the deceased and efforts in serving his country, Arab and Islamic nations, as well as his contribution, alongside Gulf leaders, to the establishment of the Gulf Cooperation Council and reinforcing its blessed march. Emir of Qatar, HH Sheikh Tammim bin Hamad Al-Thani and his father HH Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khaflia Al-Thani expressed their appreciation of HM the King's fraternal feelings that reflect the deep-rooted ties bonding the two brotherly countries and their people, wishing HM the King abundant good health and happiness. HM the King was earlier received on his arrival at the Doha International by Shaikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Prime Minister also Interior Minister. HM the King returned home this evening.
