HRH Prime Minister hails Bahraini-Thai relations

Manama, Oct. 30 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today received Ambassador Chayapan Bamrungphong of the Kingdom of Thailand. Cooperation between the two kingdoms at the regional level was discussed, as well as the implementation of the topics agreed on in the interest of the people. HRH Prime Minister praised the Bahraini-Thai talks chaired by himself and his Thai counterpart during his recent visit to the Kingdom of Thailand, and the meetings on promoting Gulf-Thailand relations held on the sidelines of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue. HRH Prime Minister hailed the bilateral relations, paying tribute to the vital role of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, and his national efforts to maintain his country's unity, security and stability. The Thai Ambassador described HRH Prime Minister's visit to Thailand as a historic one for its content, and initiatives he launched to boost Asian relations. He expressed his country's appreciation of HRH Prime Minister's noble gesture of attending the Royal Palace to offer condolences over the demise of the late King of Thailand, which reflects the strength of relations between the two countries.
