Premier praises strategic executive, legislative partnership

Manama, Oct. 31 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa praised the strategic partnership between the government and the parliament, commending the local and regional role of members of the legislative branch. He also lauded the parliamentarians' efforts to build strong relations with international parliaments and boost Bahrain's standing on the world map. HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, MPs, Shura Council members and senior officials. He discussed with them the latest regional and international developments, stressing the need for economic integration besides the GCC political cooperation to enhance the bloc's international competitiveness in light of the economic and investment privileges characterizing the GCC countries.
