BANGKOK, Nov 13 (TNA) -- A well-known Thai Buddhist monk who blessed Leicester City, Phra Phrom Mangkalajarn, confimed that he gave a pha yan or holy cloth to Donald Trump to help him in the US presidential election. The admittance came after widespread rumors in Thailand that Phra Phrom Mangalajarn or Chao Khun Thongchai, the assistant abbot of Wat Trai Mitr Witthayaram in Bangkok, has given a special holy cloth to Mr Trump which might have helped him to win the US presidential election despite against his competitor Hillary Clinton who enjoyed popularty in almost opinion polls. Earlier this year, the monk gave a holy cloth to the Thai owner of the Leicester City Football Club which then won the English Premier League title for the first time in its 132-year history. The monk was quoted as saying he gave the holy cloth to Mr Trump via Ms Tassanee Siriyiam who is the owner of the famous woman’s tailor shop “Galavin” who knows Donald Trump personally. She reportedly got to know the president-elect when they met at the 2004 Miss Universe pageant in Ecuador. Despite the success, Chao Khun Thaongchai reminded people of always practising mindfulness and remain true to life no matter what they do. The purple square-shaped cloth with an ancient Khmer script in the middle, and English words “Win, win, win.
