Relief items ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

Al-Areesh, Egypt, January 23, SPA -- A convoy of sixty one trucks
laden with relief items reached Al-Areesh city in Egypt today as part
of a relief campaign to Gaza people upon directives of the Custodian
of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz aiming at
alleviating Gazans sufferings following the Israeli siege and bloody
and devastating attack.

In a statement today, Hassan Beheiri, who was delegated by the Saudi
Embassy in Cairo as head of the Saudi delegation, said that the
trucks were carrying more than 1200 tons of foodstuffs and medical
items in addition to 30 ambulances.
Beheiri added that the relief convoy will be transported from
Al-Areesh in Egypt to Gaza via the open crossings of Rafah, Ouja or
Karam Salem.
