Phitsanulok’s botanical garden welcome tourists in winter

BANGKOK, Nov 17 (TNA) – The Baan Romkhlao Botanical Garden in Phitsanulok holds an activity to open its door for tourists in winter to see rare plants and the sea of fog. Director of the Botanical Garden Organization, Pairote Satthayasansakul said that the Baan Rom Khlao Botanical Garden invited tourists to experience cold weather and see local plants and rare plant species along with 300 kinds of Thai orchids. The fair will be held from Nov 18 to Jan 31. Besides the botanical garden, tourists can also travel by a farm truck to see nature studies trail and a nearby Hmong ethnic village. For those who want a camping experience, the camp site is available to cater about 400 tourists at Lan Chom Dao to see starry sky at night and the sea of fog in the morning. The Rom Khlao Botanical Garden, initiated by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit was established in 1999 to preserve the forest and to help local villagers earn an income from tourism. (TNA)
