Navy personnel sing royal anthem on HTMS Chakri Naruebeth

BANGKOK, Nov 18 (TNA) – The Royal Thai Navy Chief, Admiral Na Areenij led 4,000 personnel to sing the royal anthem on the deck of the aircraft carrier, HTMS Chakri Naruebeth. The singing of the royal anthem was held to express gratitude to His late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of the Royal Thai navy Day on Nov 20. Sub-Lt Santi Lunphe, a 2015 national artist, who is famous for with unique and heartfelt voice sang, accompanied by the Royal Thai Navy orchestra. HTMS Pinklao, HTMS Naresuan and HTMS Taksin sailed along with HTMS Chakri Naruebeth during the singing event. King Bhumibol anointed the three vessels – HTMS CHakri Naruebeth, HTMS Naresuan and HTMS Taksin in 1997. (TNA)
