More than SR 11 Billion set for 8,250 KMS Road Projects this

Riyadh, January 24, SPA -- The length of the road projects approved
in the budget of the Transport Ministry for the fiscal year
1430-1431AH amounted to 8,250 kilometers, and the projects will be
implemented at a total cost of SR 11.533 billion.


Minister of Transport Dr Jubara Al-Sireisiri highlighted the great
attention given to the sector of roads and transport in the state's
budgets.


He noted that the new budget included the implementation of a number
of agricultural roads in the various parts of the Kingdom with a
length of 2,118 kilometers at a total cost of SR 1,471,500,000 in
addition to studying and designing of roads with a length of 2,047
kms including highways and dual roads at a cost of SR 83.9 million.
