Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah Receives UN Special Envoy

Riyadh, January 25, SPA -- Chief of Saudi Red Crescent Authority,
Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received here yesterday UN
Special envoy to the Middle East Terry Rod Larsen.


Prince Faisal commended the role played by the United Nations Works
and Relief Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNWRA) in Gaza. He also
denounced targeting UN relief workers by Israeli forces.


During the meeting, they discussed the humanitarian situation in
Gaza as well as the possibility of forming a joint UN-sponsored
relief team to provide training for Saudi Red Crescent Authority's
workers.
