Certain Types of Milk Imported from China withdrawn

Riyadh, January 25, SPA -- According to information received by Drug
and Food Authority, Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of
Municipal and Rural Affairs has ordered municipalities in various
regions of the Kingdom to withdraw certain types of powdered milk
(Nesvita), low fat, imported from China as these are proved to
contain levels of melamine that could be harmful to health.

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs has ordered
municipalities to withdraw these types of milk and to destroy them
for the preservation of public health.
