SUMENEP PROTESTERS CALL FOR BOYCOTT OF US PRODUCTS

Sumenep, Madura Island, Jan. 28 (ANTARA) - The Sumenep People's Care Forum (FPMS) here on Wednesday staged a rally calling for a boycott of US products.

The protesters held their rally in front of the local legislative council (DPRD) and urged the council to issue a regulation banning American products in Sumenep.
"So far, the proceeds from the sale of American products have been used to destroy Muslims in a number of countries, especially in Palestine. If Muslims buy American products, it means they kill their own brothers and sisters," Jurjaiz Muzammil, a coordinator of the rally, said.
In the rally, the protesters condemned the United States of America and Israel as terrorists.
They brought posters with texts reading, among other things, "Save Muslims by Boycotting US Products".
