TRADING IN APEXINDO SHARES SUSPENDED

Jakarta, Jan. 28 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) on Wednesday suspended trading in PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX) shares in all markets.

The measure was taken following the takeover of APEX shares by PT Mitra Rajasa Tbk. (MIRA), BEI's head of share trading affairs, Supandi, said.
The suspension also accorded with the substance of a letter from APEX dated January 27, 2009 informing BEI about its plan to suspend share trading starting Wednesday until further notice.
The BEI had requested an explanation from the company regarding its present status, Supandi said.
