AOT, TAT extend business alliance deal

BANGKOK, January 12 (TNA) - Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) have inked an agreement to extend their business alliance on tourism and tourism industry development, aimed to attract more international tourists to the country. Under the agreement, signed in Bangkok on Thursday, AOT and TAT will jointly launch proactive marketing strategic policies and promote more international visitors to Thailand via flights. Besides, both state-run agencies will jointly set potential groups of international tourists whom will be provided with information on Thai tourist destinations to best suit them. International airlines will also be encouraged to open flights to Thailland on routes that meet the demand of international tourists through various activities, namely roadshows and tradeshows.
