Big Cleaning Day at Sanam Luang

BANGKOK, Jan 18 (TNA) – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will hold a clean-up campaign at Sanam Luang and surrounding areas during Jan 20-21. Bangkok Governor Pol Gen Aswin Kwanmuang invited volunteers to join the BMA-led massive cleaning activity on Friday and Saturday when the royal merit-making activities will be held to mark 100 days of the passing of His Majesty late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the public members will not allow to pay homage to the late king at the Grand Palace. BMA’s workers will collect garbage, wash pavements, clean food distribution tents. Pesticide will be sprayed to get rid of disease carriers such as flies and cockroaches. Security check will be done on electricity system and CCTV surveillance cameras. (TNA)
