Putin says Russia, Hungary believe it necessary to find political solution to Syrian crisis

BUDAPEST, February 2. /TASS/. Moscow and Budapest agree that it is necessary to find political solutions to the problems Syria has been facing, Russian President Vladimir Putin said following his talks with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. "We share a common approach, we believe it necessary to join our efforts in the war on terror," Putin added. "When political solution to the Syrian crisis is found and peace is restored it will be easier to solve the migration crisis in Europe." Putin added that during his meeting with Orban he explained in detail Russia’s position on the developments in Ukraine as well as in the Middle East. When speaking on humanitarian cooperation between Moscow and Budapest, the Russian leader pointed to the growing interest Hungarians had been taking in studying the Russian language. He also thanked the country’s authorities for creating conditions for that. Summing up the talks, Putin thanked Hungary for its generous hospitality and "substantive and meaningful negotiations."
