AIR FORCE PREPARING AIRCRAFT TO FLY LOGISITICS FOR GENERAL ELECTIONS
Jakarta, Jan 30 (ANTARA) - Air Force Chief of Staff Marshal Subandrio said his side will prepare the aircraft to help distribute logistics for the general elections.
"In view of the approaching general elections, I have asked the air force to prepare the aircraft as well as helicopters to carry the logistics," he said here on Friday.
As to the number and type of aircraft, Subandrio said it depended on the volume and kind of the logistics and their destination.
He added the distribution of logistics for the general elections depended much on approval from the military chief.
Subandrio underlined the importance of safeguarding neutrality of the military in this year's general elections.
