Kazakhstan intends to develop the tourism industry following the example of the United Arab Emirates. The countries agrred to share experiences in tourism. For example, Kazakhstan's operators will be able to arrange roadshows in the Emirates as an advertising campaign for promotion of Kazakhstan. According to Director General of the Tourism Development Department of the Ras al-Khaimah emirate, Kazakhstan has all conditions to make tourism one of the most profitable sectors of the economy. At the same time the expert note the need to develop domestic tourism.

Kazakhstan has a very promising opportunity in tourism especially in domestic tourism. As you mentioned before there is 17 million people here in Kazakhstan. And Astana and Almaty will continue to be drivers of domestic tourism. And this is where we have been very successful. 45% of our tourism is domestic. On the international markets, of course between Germany, UK, Russia, India and Kazakhstan as well has become our fifth biggest tourism market.
